~Dysphoria~
Dysphoria, almost painful and yet I can't describe it as pain, it's not pain. It's a sever unending discomfort within your own skin. It's a conflict between the body and the soul, you know in a core part of you your one way but your body and the people around you tell you different. The world tells you different. When you play the part they want you to play, when your labeled with the name and the pronouns of your given role, it feels like pretend, it feels like your acting for an imaginary audience... it feels rehearsed and forced, it feels unnatural. You tell them you don't want to play pretend anymore, and your questioned relentlessly or your wrong by default, your delusional for being you. Play along until your free, and then play along some more when your out in society. There's no win in this game they think I'm playing... so why would I be playing it? A trend or a social contagion, not a change in acceptance, never the change in taboo. You can't be you. It's unfortunate but just as unfortunately true. I'm sorry world for not playing the part I was given, call me ungrateful for not accepting it, I'd rather not be apart of the show, than pretend. to. be.
