Dying thoughts
"It was a good life", is a lie I just told her I'm dishonest and my body is getting colder Will this life flash before my eyes, I think not Did this dull life have gold and flashing lights, I recall not but nostalgic nights drowning in deep thoughts, Deep and still lost In search of my life's purpose on this breathing rock Calculating the past with every second that made the hands of time shiver, bringing to life a ticking clock The past I spent by the river reading nature's emotions with my soul But these aren't my last words they are just thoughts nobody needs to know Death was the worth of living and it seems like I'm now paying the price These are my last thoughts as my heart slowly beats into silence
