dying flowers
The flowers that grew has stopped their bloom Wilting and dying, petals spread across the room Only a few remain hanging on that still has it's hue The time is ticking for which my heart still beats for you A different kind of light shines for what's to come Colder and pale is the light that shines from your Sun A small glimmer of hope still survives That the love for you still lives inside But I know that this scar I have will never go To move on from you is something I now know My choice to starve and let it die, I have to do This flower that bloomed was my love for you
