DUPLICITY
This life is bullshit, This feeling is godawful empty. I've been stuck on some dull shit. My heart guarded by turrets and sentries. How can it be so void and flat, My journals full of blank entries, and yet I'm so filled with frustration and pain, locked in a scream that's gone on for centuries? I am so jaded and barren. Filled with all this toxicity. I am ruled by a numb anger, it's almost beautiful in its simplicity. You shrug off your harmful ways, You blame it on your eccentricities. But I have begun to doubt that your issues are real, I question their authenticity. You play dumb as always, stubbornly mute in your complicity. How big and tough it must make you feel, to be riddled with all of that duplicity. ©rachelezell27
