Drunken Whalerman
I set sail to catch me a whale, But all I saw were quail, what a blasted tale! I stumbled closer, the clown fish are closer, Playin' poker?, or so it seemed in the night. Too much whiskey, me eyes are playin' tricks, I swear I saw a mermaid doin' tricks, But she was just a seal, or so I claim, Me head's spinnin', me sea legs are lame. As the sun sets, me heart does fix, On the whale I sought, but she's a no-show still, I think I'll just anchor down and sleep, For I've had one too many, and the sea's are rockin me to sleep.
