Drums of Resilience
The walking stairs remind me of the fall, Without barriers, how dangerous it all seems. Yet without a single step, what’s there to fear? The deer in the wild hopes, with luck on its side, Crossing danger zones, trusting God to guide. Once safety fades, you’re under cover, No rules or regulations in the heart of chaos. The drums of heaven call as you draw near, But when they start to bang, nearly all is lost. Rushing to finish? It’s done with uncertainty, Or maybe you’re just not enough to cross the line. The shine of hard work reveals its glow, Emerging from the furnace of failures and frustration. Roads are never fully clean, even with rain, Cleaning up is always needed to ease the distance. Without sweat, there’s no taste of victory, And without patience, you can’t stand tall like a tree. So tread softly on the path you take, For every stumble leads to strength awake.
