Drowning in depression
Depression, anxiety Common issues, but what do we actually know? Most don't truly know how it feels Do you know how it feels? The way it steals your ability to think straight The way you constantly worry. The way you cry and cry but you just wash your face and act like everything's fine. Sometimes you even fool yourself into thinking it's okay. But like a light switch you're back into reality Where you're drowning in your own tears. They're not okay. They need help. But how do we help? We need to learn. Educate. Anxiety, It slowly drowns you, The water coming, faster and faster Faster and faster Like you can't breathe Like you can't feel Like you can't see Like you can't hear. Your brain shuts everything out. And you can't think. Do you know how it feels? Would you be able to live with it? Some have one person that they can rely on. They can tell them anything They won't judge They won't tell them it's nothing. But others don't, Others are alone Struggling, struggling, struggling Like climbing a mountain that keeps getting steeper. How do we help? Do you even want to help? We act like it's nothing. This is the problem. They feel like it's the worst thing in the world. Yet we tell them it's okay...
