Drowning in air
Trapped in emptiness, I wander wide, Screaming voices, a hollow inside. Nothing stays, a fleeting thought, To live or die, a weight I'm caught. If I live, the anguish will stay, Empty soul, night and day. If I die, will I see the light? Or fade away, without a fight? Hope dwindles, tragedy looms near, Trapped in dreams, or so it would appear. Soul searching, for what's real, Death's door knocks, will I fear? Dreams and nightmares, a fragile line, Wishes on stars, or sun's warm shine. Drowning in air, I'm lost and blue, Will this agony ever see me through?
