Drowning from pain
Drowning in the depths of pain, No escape, no refuge to gain. Nothing left to cling to, no shore, The waters rise, my heart implodes once more. With each passing moment, the tide grows strong, Deeper and darker, my soul's last song. My heartbeat falters, slows its pace, As the weight of anguish fills the space. In this ocean of despair and night, I'm lost, with no guiding light. No lifeline casts, no rescue near, My final breath, my dying tear.
