Drowning
I feel the weight upon my shoulder. The pressure building pushes me lower. This pit i dug for a future lost. Was it worth it? Look at what it cost. 6 months the rain keeps falling. With no signs of stopping. The water in this pit rising. Up to my neck frightening. There was another at the start. She grew wings like a bat. Off she went without looking back. Left me here alone and stuck. I shouted without a sound. There was no one around. The clouds cry for me now. In these tears I will drown.
