Drowning
The water is above my head, This is where I was lead. Days seem bitterly cold, I do what I am told. My brain is drowning in sadness, The happier times is what I miss. Times when sunshine shone through the one big cloud, The screaming was not that loud. The windows open up but all I see is rain, Its a sign for me to stay in my lane. But what exactly does that mean, Maybe I need a pillar to lean. My eyelashes are wet, Its with tears that they have been met. The floor around me ia falling, And I'm stuck crawling. I call out for someone to save me from this dark dingy abyss, It's the happiness I miss. Please help me out of here, So that I can be in the clear. My life is tumbling down around me, Someone has stolen my key. My key to a happy life, All they have done is stabbed me in the heart with a knife.
