Drifting Childhood
In the rush of time, we age and stray, From childhood's joy, we drift away. Memories linger, like distant dreams, Of laughter, innocence, and sunlit streams. We chase our years, in search of more, But find solace in the past we adore. For in those moments, pure and bright, We glimpsed the world in a softer light. Yet life moves on, its relentless flow, And we must bid our youth goodbye, and go. But in our hearts, those memories stay, Guiding us through life's winding way. So cherish each moment, fleeting and dear, For in the passage of time, they'll persevere. And though we may grow older, and life may change, The echoes of childhood forever remain.
