I feel myself finally fall asleep I remember you I'm snapped awake my mind eaten bit by bit with waves of emotion grief, blame, anger, sadness all mixed to a bleak mindscape I close my eyes I remember you happiness, love, caring, hope my heart isn't used to so many and so I lay wishing for rest but pushing it away it's the only way I can still be close to you
