Dried Tears
My pillows have become crunchy and dry The echo of my past bleeds me,I don't cry So wily were the ways,and the lies so slick I sobbed for them and bought their trick He said that we would never part our ways Yet like a rain cloud,he vanished in a daze I was rescued from the flicker of a shade I rained tears till my eyes finally forbade. Like the mad dog I kept on chasing my tail The wind shivered when he heard me wail One day she came and whispered,"Follow" I kept on chasing until my soul was hollow The sun never rose on my sequestered soul They said,"Wear a smile.Focus on your goal. Forget about her. They will come and leave." I asked,"How do I know for whom to grieve?
