Dreams That Were Buried Alive
I woke up suddenly, cold and weak in the late night I saw many shadows staring at me for a little while their eyes held billions of dream each one carrying it's own story I was neither afraid nor frightened instead I was filled with grieving and deep sorrow because I saw my own abandoned dream reflected in their eyes dreams I had given up on so easily as if letting them go required no efforts at all I asked them , ”where am I? " they told me I was on my dead bed one from which I could never be awakened again, they said they were my unfilled potential the ghost of the idea I never acted on the talent I never used. One of them stepped forward leaned in close and whispered into my ear, "You could have brought us back to life, but now it's already late, we must go to the grave and bury together and alive. silent river of sorrow trace my checks only one sentence escaped from my lips, " I realise it now but a flood of regret no time can undo " Then I fall into a deep sleep from which I could never be wake again
