Dreams

I toil and strive to make my dreams come true I do all that I can to make it through Everyday I strive for the life I seek The one with love, not loneliness and meek My efforts are real, I burn out my days Yet it feels so far from what I’m trying to raise The love and life that I have only dreamt of But I feel so far away and never above But I’ll never give up, I won't rest or pause I’ll follow, strive, and persevere, no matter the cause For in the end, I know it will be my effort That will lead me to my dream and my sought-after life I fervently sought
