Dreams
My heart yearned, a dream within my sight, A longing that burned, day and night. But fate's cruel hand, a bitter jest, Took my aspiration, at its behest. Some dreams remain a dream, Fetched by the evil stream. No matter how hard I seek, It's fate's cruel hide and seek. The winds bring naught but sigh, My heart throbs with a cry. In slumber's grip, desires entwined, Some dreams remain within the mind. Like distant stars, they shine afar, But fate's hand dims, they fade and mar. Though yearned for, they elude embrace, A haunting ache, a bittersweet trace. A symphony of hopes untold, Some dreams forever, left to fold. Now shattered hopes, in fragments lie, The dream once bright, now wilts and dies. Some dreams remain, just out of reach, A constant torment, I cannot breach Through ages, I bear this weight, Some dreams are bound by fate
