Dream
I carried a dream Like a tiny flame inside my chest, Protecting it from storms, From voices that called it impossible, From nights that felt too heavy to survive. There were days When the world felt colder than winter, When failure stood at my door Again and again Like it belonged there. People saw my silence But never heard the battles Screaming inside my mind. They saw me slowing down, Not realizing I was carrying mountains in my heart. Still, the dream refused to die. It stayed awake with me Through sleepless nights, Through trembling hands, Through tears I wiped away Before anyone could notice. And slowly, Pain became strength. Broken pieces became lessons. Every scar turned into proof That I had survived Everything meant to destroy me. Now I walk differently. Not because the road became easy, But because I finally understood That dreams are not meant For those who never fall— They are meant For those who rise Every single time The world tries to bury them. So if your heart still holds a dream, Hold it close. Even in darkness. Even in fear. Because one day The same dream that made you cry in silence Will become the reason You smile without hiding.
