Dream
A dream that began to recur in my youth, and which always bore a semblance of truth, opened a veil that was frightening to me; a very strange nightmare I hardly could see. Although the images weren't very clear, always, when I woke, I was trembling with fear. How had I managed to evoke such a feeling? I felt trepidatious; my senses were reeling. Perhaps an ethereal sound in my room, resounded within my nightmarish gloom; maybe a growl, howl, moan or a scream, caused me to dream this eldritch scene. So at the end of the evening, before I sleep, I always entreat the heavens to keep this nightmare away from the rest of my dreams; and finally, forever, my subconscious redeem.
