draining day

Everything will be okay i tell myself as i get ready for the draining day, put on your smile and fake your way until you get home dont let them see you break i say as im wiping my tears away, dont let your laugh falter dont let your smile drop, don't let them see the weak you thought was lost, let them see the brave you, see the okay you, dont bring to much attention i say to the girl in the mirror, don't let them look at your pain mask it through your face, don't look away when someone asks if your okay, stare them in the face and say im okay, if they dont believe you walk away, don't be the burden that you can't change, no one cares i tell the girl in the mirror pick yourself up and get ready for this draining day.
