Drained Affection
Behooved to shoulder the pernicious and brutal vacillations of my ineluctably dour decline Perpetually besieged by immense, wanton vexation I lie reprobated, relegated, resigned His visage stalks me, mannerisms haunt me; I am subsisting within the confines of my distortion Mellifluous chords radiating from a ruddy, velvet lip lies once more, falsely purporting to adore me again I am inept at eluding the savory fabrications that my mind has created - my soul is parched for admiration Rousing upon the revelation that fanciful reverie contains not even a mere vestige of reality Forever is my path astray, why, without a mote of hope, what else could I achieve?
