dolce far niente
The sweetness of Doing exactly nothing Immobile as a wall Glued to the chair Doing absolutely nothing But yet, admiring the beauty Of what is actually beauty I scarcely move a muscle, Not even a nerve twitch, But serenely stay in place, Not even slightly changing The expression on my face As i am fond of doing nothing So i do it all day long Unsure of what can pop up next Like a fire or simply an earthquake Yet i remain doing nothing As easy as nothing Which simplifies and explains The sweetness of Doing Nothing
