Does it really matter?
The eyes of the world, Always treating us wrong. Judgement from everywhere, A glare you can’t easily bear. What's the matter if I'm brown? What's the matter if my hair’s down? What's the matter if I'm talking loud? What's the matter if I'm proud? What's wrong with my voice, Every time I sing, you shout? What's wrong with my hand, Every time I draw, you laugh? Why do you want to shove fear, So that I will cut my own tree? How will I know how tall it would grow, If it was cut down before tomorrow? I can sing with the birds, I can bloom with flowers, I can shout my voice, Why should it matter?
