Do you Remember?
Do you remember? The freckles that added to your beauty, The expressions that made you a Barbie, The dimples that turned you into a princess, And the smiles lighting up Venus. Can you recollect? The petals blooming at your sight, The sunflowers rising as you passed, The lilies circling as you whirled, Nature singing just because you smiled. Can you look back? See how the world kept dancing as you moved your feet, The birds chirping morning songs before you awoke, The trees lining up to bow for a queen, Mother Nature waiting daily for her kin. I can take you back To the moment where we met, The time when I never felt less, When we rode our bikes around the yard of hearts, Lying back at night to watch the stars dance. Days we spent by the coastline, Writing our wishes along the riverbank, Drawing our faces in the beach sand, Making promises of a lifetime, With hopes of moments that would last.
