Do You feel The Same
In the labyrinth of my heart, where emotions reside, A question echoes, a plea I've yet to subside: Do you love me with the same fervor, the same fire, As I love you, with every fiber, every desire? When shadows of absence fall, and distance takes its toll, Do tears fall like rain, as mine do, when you're gone, my soul? Does the thought of losing you evoke a fear so true, As it does in me, where your presence is all I pursue? Do you proclaim to the world, with pride and with a grin, That your heart belongs to me, and I'm the one you love within? Do you feel the ache of longing, the yearning in your chest, When we're apart, and every moment feels like a test? Do you stand as my defender, my shield, my guiding light, When malice speaks of me, and darkness takes flight? Do you believe in me, with unwavering trust and faith, As I do in you, through life's tempests and every uncertain path? Will you stand by my side, through trials and tribulations, When material wealth fades, and only love remains? Will you accept the ebbs and flows, the highs and the lows, And with gentle hands, help me navigate life's unpredictable tides and woes? Will you be my rock, my safe haven, my forever home, Where I can be myself.
