I wish you cared. I lie awake, nights swallowing me whole, Dumb for believing your lies— That you loved me, not her. The truth’s a jagged shard in my mind, A scream trapped beneath my skin. You never looked at me with love— Just used me until you walked away. Now I’m left bleeding in silence, Picking up the shattered remains of a heart you crushed. I wish you cared.
