Distorted Reflections.
I check the mirror, distorted in view And when I look back, It's me and you Time has passed And dreams have changed And that sad fear stays etched inside my brain You look through me and say, "Has it changed for the better?", And I, back to you, say, "Hide your soul from the weather. Like a bird in a cage, a pearl in a shell Evil eyes, evil hearts Pry all too well. " And with a quick notion, She hides in my heart Only to appear In the safest parts.
