Dissonance
Dissonance I wish I were a hellion So these expectations couldn't slap my face This facade of expectations is a milestone That my blood can only boil My smile can't fade But rather remains firm, For the wall of lies is too savage, That my hands can't break through. I wish I were a hellion For my rest would be sure Atleast I could destroy Mayami With no image to protect, No one to cloud my ideas I'd take flight like a bird, Reckless I would be , With diamonds in my stomach, Relieving my curiosity. I wish I were a hellion So my mind could savor margaritas Without thinking of a legacy They told me to be decent, To drop my sports Because I've got a reputation to uphold. It annihilates my power Forcing me to preserve my family's reputation. It drains my spirit , Like dreadful dripping blood. But I can no longer be that hellion I thought I still had donkey years To unleash my true self, Wild and free I thought I could let it go , But has become apart of me That even I can't uproot I don't know how my insides can be still #Cassandra ❤️
