Discern
Can you be a little discerning? When the wolves come in sheep' clothing When they sneak into the family gathering When they come to you with the guise of an alliance Will you fall prey or keep up in resilience? When they come on strongly as an opposition Will you scurry and hide or stand stronger in defiance? Can you be a little discerning? If they go on to dig out dirt from your history Will it shock you as in the reveal of a mystery? Can you overcome and claim the victory? Or will you end up hiding and crying in misery? And I hear in my spirit; 'Can you be a little more discerning?' Be as gentle as a dove but as wise as a serpent
