Disappointment
It's like a rat scratching a cardboard box, the grating sound, the desperate need to escape. It hits like a hurricane, watching from the shore, the black clouds roll in, rolling in waves signal unstoppable consequences. It shatters the spirit, like a porcelain doll once on a shelf now on display on the floor. Fixable but never quite the same maybe even weaker at times. It generates heat, be it from the pressure or the urge to destroy to make up for it, much like a volcano. In the end the rat escapes, the hurricane passes, the porcelain doll is still beautiful, and the volcano lays dormant. Relief comes as quick as disappointment does.
