Dinner
Dinner isn't over the sweets come in last No skipping to the end Until the dinner's passed The mash may be runny, the rolls oh so dry, but the desert at the end has caught all 'f our eye Some will eat faster, some will eat slowly, but at the end of our dinner one thing will be known The desserts will be served, one scoop in one cone The deserts, ever sweet, are tempting in such but you can't have them now not even a touch. For dinner isn't over not yet, it's still warm the desert will be there, stay here and strong, and do not abort For dinner isn't over. It's only just begun The ham, so sav'ry and the steaming, fluffy bun. Dinner isn't over just sit down, eat The desert will be waiting at the end of it all. again: Dinner isn't over.
