Diamante
In this world, I'm bound to you, unable to break free, For I can't imagine a life where you're not with me. Though it brings me pain, I hold on tight, Refusing to let go, embracing the night. Every breath I take feels empty, incomplete, Without your presence, my heart skips a beat. I'm trapped in this longing, consumed by desire, Unable to extinguish this relentless fire. I've grown dependent on your love, your touch, The thought of losing you feels like too much. In this hopeless entanglement, I choose to stay, Holding onto fragments, even as they fray. I'm aware of the torment, the endless strain, Yet I cling to the hope that things will never wane. You're my everything, my reason to endure, Even if it means enduring pain that's pure. So I'll remain in this bittersweet embrace, Yearning for your love, no matter the chase. I can't live without you, it's the truth I know, And so, I hold on, unwilling to let go. July 2nd 2023
