Devil is a lier.
The devil is a liar, a master of deceit, With forked tongue, he speaks, and hearts he'll greet, He'll steal your joy, your peace, your every gain, But one thing he can't take, is my Yah's eternal reign. He can have my job, my friends, my earthly fame, All that I've worked for, he can claim, But my Yaweh, my Savior, my heart's desire, He can't take away, my soul's on fire. You may call me names, pull me down with scorn, Hurt or hate me, but I'll rise, reborn, For I'm chosen, I'm His child, His sheep, My Yah hears my voice, and I know He'll keep. The devil may roar, with ferocious might, But my Yah is stronger, shining with delight, He's my rock, my refuge, my guiding light, In His presence, I'll take flight. So bring it on, devil, with all your guile, I'll stand firm, in my Yah's unfailing smile, For I know my God, and He knows me, And together we'll triumph, wild and free. Through the fire and the rain, I'll walk with Him, Through the stormy night, I'll find my whim, In His arms, I'll find my peaceful nest, With my Yah, I'll find my eternal rest.
