Desperate Thirst
A few weeks past, I watered my plant with tainted paint water, by accident. Desperate, the plant drank greedily, thirsting for sustenance. She needed water more than anything, So she took what she could get, heedless of the poison it held. Now, she suffers, teetering on the brink of death, The vitriolic substances gnawing at her from within, draining the last hues of life from her... You might wonder, "What a foolish plant, to drink the toxic water instead of waiting for the pure." But this isn't about a plant. ~Tilda ☆
