despairing love
In the labyrinth of love, I find my heart ensnared, A spell of longing cast, an enchantment, so unfair. With every whispered promise, every stolen kiss, I'm drawn deeper into this abyss Despair becomes my constant, unrelenting friend, As love's intoxication refuses to bend. I chase elusive dreams, like shadows in the night, Yearning for your touch, to make it all feel right. But love's a game, a cruel and wicked art, It tears at my soul, and it rips me apart. Despair, once my enemy, now my faithful stalker, clings to my side, As I navigate this tempestuous tide. In the twilight of our passion, I'm lost and yet entranced, Despair and love, a dance I can't withstand. For in this dark enchantment, I find my bittersweet plea, To love you still, despite despair, for all eternity
