Desolate Skies
So you demons of this world, won't you set ablaze? Burn the ground below, in a fiery haze. The pain will never end, torment forever. Here for all eternity, a grip we can’t sever. In darkness we dwell, consumed by despair. Lost amid the chaos, waves crashing with no repair. The heavens weep, as hope flickers and dies. Embracing melancholy, beneath desolate skies. Yet amidst the shadows, a glimmer of light. In unity we stand, a beacon burning bright. For even in anguish, a strength we shall find. Together we rise, leaving the past behind. So you demons of this world, our spirits won’t break. In unity we thrive, an unyielding quake.
