DESCRIBE WHAT YOU MEAN TO ME?
They ask me, what do you mean to me? And I pause, lost in a quiet sea. It’s like asking why the stars choose to shine, Or why a rose opens in perfect time. Why do the clouds drift with such grace? And how does the moon find its place? How can I explain that your presence is light? That even in silence, you make things right? That your laughter is music I never forget, And your touch feels like the sun when it sets. When I look at you, there’s no disguise, Just truth reflected in your eyes. How to explain that your love is like air? I don’t always see it, but I know it’s there. It lifts me when I’m sinking low, And calms the storms I rarely show. How to explain that when you’re near, Even the loudest doubts disappear? The truth is that what we share Is beyond reason—raw and rare. Let them wonder, let them ask, To love you isn’t a task. It’s the spark that guides my way, A silent prayer I live each day.
