Descendent of the Witch
I am the great grand daughter of the witches they couldn't burn, My caldron is a wax warmer and my potions are it's wax, On nights when the moon is full and all the world's asleep-- It is, I, who stirs about And concoctions, I create. I sing songs of days long forgotten, dance about in the moon's soft glow, I am one with my ancestors before me-- The ones forgotten that no one knows. I bathe in the tears of my enemies, I victor in karma's reap. As the sun comes breaking dawn, signaling the time for twilight to leave-- I nestle deep in a sea of blankets and dream dreams that are so sweet We still walk amongst the real monsters that tried to burn us and bury us deep. I do not blame them for what they will never understand, I wish them no harm, bodily or to peace-- I wish them connection with their own spirits and that they live a legacy of pride to their deceased. You never harm what you can't help, Never cast judgement from a valley, and never live a life that's fake-- Just be, and let be, naturally
