I remind myself day in and day out This cannot go on forever Though all I want to do is shout This feels better I care and then I don't I forget what your voice sounds like Then try to remember all night But I can't and I won't It's a deep, burning nothing It consumes my body whole Like how your lungs burn after running But it never subsides and sits Idly in the back of my mind You go against everything you once Said to me For a simple kiss and blunt You know you utterly disgust me Can you see it in my eyes? You said you could always tell Who I despise All your mannerisms I once worshipped Are so small and insignificant I could crush you between my fingers I will arise triumphant
