Depression is Tiring
Depression is a heavy feeling stuck inside your lungs It doesn't have to make sense It'll hang thick in the air Thicker than the smoke from lit cigarettes in my room The sun drains you of energy you don't have The hair brush feels a thousand times heavier Depression can come and ago It can hug tighter than a long distance relative at Christmas It can sink your eyes kill them of any shine or light Weigh you down Depression doesn't have to make sense It never truly does One day you can love drawing The next having to roll over to look at your desk can exhaust you It never has to make sense It can drain your heart if everything happy Drown your brain with feelings of tiredness It can suck you dry of life A parasite that attacks the brain Depression is a heavy feeling stuck along your insides I should know I want to nap after changing my shirt
