Depression Is A War
Depression is like going to war with no armour— getting attacked, but you cannot defend. Feeling as if you'd rather get stabbed than get out of bed. Watching, begging, crying, hurting— you want to help yourself out of this cycle, but you just don't know how. Trying to open up, but the words just don't come out. But even though you hate it, you find comfort in it— in all the crying, the sleeping, the cutting. Without anyone there for you, it's the only way to cope. Depression is a war.
