Depression & Self Harm
TW Staring at the beige ceiling wall of my bedroom. Getting that burning sensations in my eyes as I blink, letting warm tears slowly slide down my cheek hitting the gray sheet that lays apon my mattress. My chest rises and then falls as I begin to struggle to keep a steady paced breath. Wondering what would happen if I was to stay, I can't promise that I'd end up okay. Being stuck in my own mind fighting the thoughts in my head as if it's a war. Acting on impulse, using pain as closure. Digging a broken piece of glass into my skin slowly, pressing deeper with each breath, smiling through the pain, not stopping until I see the pleasurable red blood drip from my thighs. My body begins to tremble, Thoughts rushing into my mind. Struggling to sleep, but as my eye lids get heavier I begin to let them flutter shut. Using sleep as my only escape, feeling free. (If you or anyone else is struggling with something like this just know you are not alone, please keep fighting although I know sometimes it may get hard. You can make it through.)
