Depression
In youth's wild storm, a tempest raged within, Where shadows lingered, deep beneath the skin. Through trials vast, they sought an escape's grace, In drugs' false promise, they sought solace's embrace. With each pill swallowed, a fleeting relief they sought, But chains of addiction, tighter still, they caught. Silent tears, like rain, fell in the dark of night, As sorrow's whispers echoed, casting out the light. Yet amidst the chaos, a glimmer of hope did rise, In the quiet moments, beneath the starlit skies. Through the pain and struggle, a spirit did soar, Finding strength to fight, to strive for more. Though scars may linger, and shadows may still fall, Their spirit resilient, answering destiny's call. For in the depths of darkness, they found their way, A beacon of light, guiding to a brighter day.
