Depression
Can I just sleep all day I don't want to think to repeat the cycle again. Can I crawl under the sheets to feel myself sink into the soft cushions away from the world. Shut down my mind. Turn the power off. Draw the curtains. Turn off the lights. The darkness is deep, and with it, the cold. I can feel the cold seeping into my bones. A cave of its own. This is where I feel home. Closing my eyes. Leaving this nightmare. On to the next. My mind has been wracked. Heart has been beat. So I lay them down. To Rest and retreat. If I wake wake to soon I'll hit repeat I'm tired of this madness I just want to sleep
