Departing.
I can feel the drifting between us. I can feel the resentment growing like a festering wound. The air is dwindling the flame, slowly suffocating what once was. The comforting warmth turns to a shivering cold. The departure is like the changing of seasons. Soon winter will be here and all will be cold. No flame to escape the bitter cold. No flame to light the way. I only hope you can survive the departure.
