Demons
The voices in my head return, I fear the way my soul will burn. My heart, a wound that never mends, Bandaged tight, the bloodshed transcends. I fight the demons, yet I fall, Becoming one, I heed their call. They creep and whisper, dark and deep, While suicide's cold promise I keep. I wait for dawn, for light's reprieve, When demons hide, and I believe. But shadows fall, and darkness reigns, They rise again, with haunting strains. This pain, a pure and endless fight, Demons coursing through my night. I hide my heart, a constant bleed, A silent, never-ending deed. Beware the dark, when shadows creep, For demons lurk, while others sleep.
