Delusion

You continue to remain in the light because I remained in darkness The more we try to reach one another the more the space between us widen We lost all of ourselves just to pursue nothing but more loss God gave me these eyes to see but all I ever choose to see was you I took my eyes off you for a moment and you were gone Maybe we weren't meant to be Perhaps there is another universe where we are together My feelings swallowed me up just to spit me out somewhere in hell fire I wished all the times I have wasted made their way back to me All the beautiful moments that could have been that we neglected These moments were born in our imaginations but were never conceived into reality Ohh how saddening it is
