Deepest Fear
If you were to ask me my deepest fear, I'd probably say something like spiders or the ocean. People don't seem to look at you weridly when you say that. But if I were being truthful, I'd tell you that my deepest fear is feeling the way I do forever. What if I always wake up and I am forever haunted by what I see when I take off my clothes. What if I never stop waking up each morning feeling like everything I do is pointless. What if I end up lonely, miserable, and alone. But I don't think that's exactly what people really care to hear when they ask you what your deepest fear is. It's too real for them. Too deep. They probably wouldn't even know what to say. So for now, I guess I'll just have to pretend that my deepest fears are something that's easy for others to swallow.
