Deep inside the dark
Deep inside the dark, something shifted. The breeze grew colder, the sky turned darker still. Thunder struck without mercy, rain poured from the heavens— heavy, rageful. Trees groaned as the downpour continued, the atmosphere roared like a wounded beast, as if nature itself bled with fury and pain. Deep inside the dark, beneath nature’s raging sky, my mind bleeds— not with blood, but with unseen pain and struggles. Whispers battle my conscience. Inside me, a war begins— not of swords, but of horrors I do not yet know. Yet still I lie awake. My eyes stay open, my chest heaves, tears held back. I look up and realize the dawn has already arrived. The sun rises slowly, calm and gentle. Birds sing their morning hymns. The atmosphere feels alive and peaceful. Then I whisper to myself: “If peace exists out there… why is my mind a battlefield?”
