December Snow
A December blanket holds the street in cold embrace; enfolds the park as downy snowflakes fall with natural grace. They alight, midst fallen comrades, so softly on the ground; an urban magic permeates the scenery all around. Lonely lamp posts, upon their watch, stand tall; guarding sidewalks along the landscape wall. They shine below with limpid pools of light; happy couples strolling arm-in-arm, in sight. A wintry hush veils muffled city-sounds, as falling snow continues drifting down. Snow-clad couples converge their dreams tonight, and love, a hopeful bird, emerges and takes flight.
